Beautiful barn
Yesterday was a day of running around and we ended up going to an antique flea market just 25 minutes up the road. I love just looking at all the goodies and seeing if I can locate something unique to take home with me. I almost brought home with me a metal goat but I just didn't know where I would put him, but he was just adorable. If I find him again, I will definitely be bringing him home with me as he was one of those things, I should not have second guessed. It was on the way home that I had my husband stop, pull over and back up so I could take these pictures. I was just in awe that this was on a barn. Grant Wood studied in Iowa, we have quite a bit of his art here, and he's quite popular here but this was just on the side of the road. It was just amazing.
