The Lost Picnic
This oversize book is actually a Seek and Find Book. There isn’t a deep story here, the book is centered on the illustrations. This story is about a granddad taking his two grandchildren on a picnic. They pack the picnic basket on the top of the car and set off, traveling through some colorful places before finally arriving at the picnic grounds. Excited to eat, they unstrap the picnic basket and discover that, their picnic will have to wait as they take another car ride.
This is a difficult Seek and Find book. The illustrations are busy and the unique color scheme make this a fun book, if you are up to it. I can see some individual getting frustrated while I enjoyed the challenge. There aren’t many words in this book as the illustrations take up the majority of the book. I suggest that you read through the book and enjoy the illustrations, then go back and find the items on each page. This book is fun, it’s a challenge, and I enjoyed it. Now, to read another one of his books.
