Fangsgiving
The monsters were gathering for their annual Thanksgiving feast which included many of the familiar characters from Ethan Long’s previous books. Everyone is working hard, doing their specific jobs to get the meal ready when they hear a honking horn. It is a carload of Vladimir’s relatives! Vladimir is excited to see them and it isn’t long before they start adding their own flair to everyone’s Thanksgiving dishes, including Vladimir’s own turkey. Vladimir’s friends are confused as their dishes are transformed. Thanksgiving has arrived and as they sit down and eat, this meal is not what they had planned.
This is a fun book. Besides being holiday book, it’s a book about compromise, family and friends. I have always enjoyed the illustrations inside his books and these do not disappoint. A fun cast of characters with great facial expressions make this a wonderful book that can be read over and over again.
