My Never Ending List

Loved it, loved it!! Everyone should read or own this book.  What a fun read plus an educational book.  It’s a spelling bee with astonishing results.  Cordelia loves to spell; I mean she even spells when she speaks to people. This little witch practices spelling so much her mother has to make her go outside to play and even then, she is practices spelling. She changes her C-A-T into a C-O-A-T, the poor little cat, this girl is a whiz (no pun intended).  So when a poster for The Witches Double Spelling Bee is posted Cordelia feels it is a sign and she must enter.  Her mother feels she is too young to be a contestant.  Who was the latest winner? Two hundred and three year-old Beulah Divine and Beulah laughs when she hears that Cordelia is one of the contestants that will be competing with Beulah this year. Just thinking about a witches spelling bee should have you thinking spells and spelling vocabulary words and you would be have half right, but witches can be cruel too.  As the wands are waved and each contestant takes their chance with their word, only one winner can be announced.  As the words are being tossed around in the room, watch out as you never know what word will land on you!
