Little One
I loved the simple illustrations in this children's book. Done in black and white, they are easy to follow, understand and are not overly busy. The font is bold and black which make this book nice and peaceful and wonderful in my world. Mother Bear comes out of her winter den with her baby cub and is ready to show her baby the wonderful world that awaits the Little One. From catching fish, to enjoying the outdoors, to eating berries, Mother Bear shows her Little One just exactly what the world entails. The seasons begin to change and Mother Bear knows it is time to begin the journey back to their den for another season of hibernation. Together the two take a moment to enjoy the last view of fall before plowing through the snow to the safety of their winter home.
