I read almost every genre & I enjoy venturing into unfamiliar territory. As a library volunteer, I'm constantly bringing home novels. Being a substitute teacher, I read lots of YA & children's books.
We've had a lot of rain here. Some worms decided to find shelter in our garage somehow but little did they know we let our cat, Charlie investigate those quarters and Charlie's a playful one. Those worms intrigued him as he "played" with them. I decided to save the worms from Charlie's antics so grabbing a paper towel, I scooped a few up and opened the side door. Not wanting Charlie to escape his quarters, I left the door open 1/4 inch, as I threw the intruders in the grass. Charlie had other plans and he jumped up on door, locking me out. Yes, my cat locked me out of the house at 6 am. No socks, shoes or coat and it was raining. It was around 45 degrees so it wasn't too old. Luckily, I had I cell phone and texted my husband who thought I was joking. He drove home from work to let me in. Not a good start to my week.
