My Never Ending List

Dragon Night

Dragon Night - Stephanie Campbell I'm not one to usually read in the science fiction and fantasy genre as they usually do not hold my attention as I find that they are filled with too much mind-blowing actitvity to even make sense but this book was the exception. Stephanie did an excellent job setting up the story and portraying the Ford's life before he knew he was special and how he felt that his life would be "greener on the other side of the fence". I liked how Stephanie created a struggle within Ford as he tried to figure out who he really was as he was adjusting to his new identity of a Draconic. Ford liked the power of being a Draconic but didn't like the responsibility that went with the new territory. Ford also wanted at that time to go back in time and wait tables and just be a regular human again and not be linked to Coactum. He was just so unsure about himself. Again I was impressed how I was obsorbed into this book and I couldn't put this book down at times. There was no romance in this book which I found interesting but Stephanie didn't need it, there was enough drama to keep the pace up and the pages turning. I wonder what will happen to Ford, there has to be more, right?
