Ginny has always lived with her parents and had been taken care of by them until an accident killed her parents. Believing that nothing would change, Ginny continues on her “don’t touch me, can’t look at you, I have specific rules to follow” daily life. Now enters Amanda, Ginny’s older sister who feels that Ginny cannot handle the demands of living on her own and must now live with her family and they must now sell the family home. This captivating story of the two sisters shows the reader the love and commitment the sisters have to each other but also fear and determination. Ginny while under the loving eyes of her mother, learned to cook and cooks up some ghosts who tell her some interesting stories to get this book moving and the events within the story gets interesting. I felt a deep sorrow for Ginny when her parents died, for she lead a sheltered life but by the time the book was finished, I was so proud of her and was so moved by her accomplishments. Lots of emotions in this book. I'm ready for pasta and dessert!!
