He does it again! Jerry gets the reader sucked into the drama in the first couple pages and before you know it, the story is over and you are wishing you had more. The elements are all there: father and son dealing with a tramatic event and Pa teaching his son "what it's like to be a man." The drama continues with zombies creeping up to their farm and what happens next is another life lesson for Jessie as Pa helps him tackle an even harder issue. I love the language and for such a short story it has a great punch! I felt like I was a fly on the wall watching the drama unfold on this story as the language was so well written and refined. I will definitely be keeping and rereading this one again.
