I am confused about this review as I loved the idea of the book and some of the characters, and I really wanted to enjoy this book but it just did not come all together for me. It took me a while to get used to the author’s writing style as I thought it was quirky and childish at first but taken for what it is and for the context of this book, it fit. The relationships in the book were strained and I was hoping that something would push them pass the barriers that causes this turmoil but it just seemed to be an uphill battle. Yet the relationship continued and I continued to read hoping for the best. Perhaps, I am looking for a happy ending or just an explanation that I can grasp before I close the book and that is why I continued to read when I was frustrated at the words that were written on the pages that I was reading. Things were just not working out how I thought they should be or wanted them to be, why didn’t the characters feel the same way I did? A very different book and one I am ready to forget.Sexual content and vulgar language.
