I picked this up from the library as I loved the cover and then I read the synopsis and I had to figure out the ending.....boy was I surprised!They’re ghosts and they are visiting Lauren and telling her their story. Why Lauren? Could it be because she will be turning 17 soon and she is the only one who will listen to their stories? All of the girls disappeared when they were 17 years old and the reasons behind the disappearances where different but they all disappeared without a trace. Abby came to her first and seems to lead the story and has quite an attitude. Lauren does not tell her mother or her friends about her new ghostly appearances even though Lauren’s behavior and actions start to change and sometime they become disturbing. The ghosts want her help and Lauren must figure out what they want so she can get her life back to normal. This is when the story takes a twist and I could not put the story down. Lauren’s past is through into the mix, she starts to question her own mother’s statue and her friends are needed to help her move on. The ending was not what I expected…..I will definitely be reading more from this author.
