Book Challenge
My first book challenge for 2015 and it looks doable. I am signing up for the Dive Into Diversity Challenge organized by http://readingwishes.blogspot.com/ and http://ratherbereadingblog.com/. The amount of books that I need to read is really up to me but they hope to challenge individuals to read at least one a month. After looking over my past reads, I think I can safely say I can handle this. So, what is a diverse book? "We recognize all diverse experiences, including (but not limited to) LGBTQIA, people of color, gender diversity, people with disabilities, and ethnic, cultural, and religious minorities."
I know for this past year I've had quite a few books that fit on this shelf and a handful that were favorites of mine: Beauty of the Broken, Lies We Tell Ourselves, Something Real and The Sweet Revenge of Cecil Door. I'm excited to become more aware of the diverse books that I am not aware of and this challenge is one that I know I will be successful at. So bring it on!!
