Their names are Spark, Bobbin and Nutshell and their jobs are make sure Santa gets to everyone’s house by Christmas morning. The time is Christmas Eve and the three elves have just taken an elfie and the picture looks great but they better get moving as there is lots to do. It’s time for sending texts to Santa, getting the GPS ready, loading the toy bag and making sure they have the Nice List for Santa to look at. Told in sporadic hourly increments, the elves help Santa make his deliveries to the children around the world. There are “little-know facts” which accompany the text which are funny tidbits of information that children will enjoy reading, for example Santa favorite Christmas song is Here Comes Santa Claus and “Reindeer love tinsel but it makes them hyper. It’s like 50 cups of coffee.” When Santa and the elves arrive back at the North Pole, there’s singing, dancing and hot chocolate but this year something extra is in the toy bag. Some of them enjoy the surprise but others are worried. This is a cute holiday book with bright, glossy colorful pages with large text written in a type of comic sans script so it’s easy to read.
