My Never Ending List

Outpost (Razorland Series #2)

Outpost - Ann Aguirre The pace has slowed down on the second book of this series but the drama continues. Deuce is now Topside and has to deal with the drama in this unknown world. Down in the Enclave she was a Huntress and she had her place, she was needed and she was something. Now, well she needs to find her place in the world again and she has boy issues, something she has never dealt with before and right now, she doesn't want to deal with them either but she has no choice. Deuce and Fade have always been an item since they met and it was more like a partnership, not a relationship but now Topside everything is changing. Women are treated differently and Deuce doesn't like it and doesn't want to be "owned". She liked the relationship that they had underground in the Enclave and wants to keep it that way. Stalker would like to have a relationship with Deuce too and she does not notice the advances he makes on her until things go too far. Tegan becomes a main character once she comes with them and gets away from the gang she has been running with. The four find shelter and try to make it their new home but the Freaks are just too close for comfort and they must help their new communnity before it is too late. No rest for the weary.Plenty of drama for Deuce as she has to figure out whether she can wear the hat of a huntress and a female Topside or she has to abide by Topside rules and become a female and carry female responsiblities. Add the drama of the two males who are a major part of her life, Fade and Stalker. She sees both of them as great friends and they are both searching for more from her. They want to be her mate. Lurking outside the community are the Freaks who they thought they left in the tunnels. These Freaks are different though, they are smarter and planning something which causes the foursome to worry about their new home. Will this adventure ever end for them? This with book, I found myself worrying more about the other characters in the book sometimes more than I worried about the main characters. Another great page turner.
